Mrs. Wesley Calhoun announces the engagement and upcoming marriage of her daughter, Pamela Chappelle Calhoun, to Daryl Jackson, son of Mrs. Harry Stewart. The bride-elect is a native of Griffin, Georgia. She graduated from Griffin High School. She received her bachelor's degree from the University of Georgia and completed her master's and specialist degrees from West Georgia College. The bride-elect is a member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Inc. She is employed with the Griffin-Spalding County School System.
The groom-elect is a native of Newark, New jersey. He graduated from Glynn High School in Birmingham, Alabama. He served four years in the U.S. Marine Corp. The groom-elect is employed as a private contractor with Florida East Coast Highway Services.
A wedding is planned for Saturday, May 20, 2006, at Mount Zion Baptist Church in Griffin, Georgia. The couple has planned a honeymoon trip to Martha's Vineyard, Edgartown, Massachusetts.
